Itinerary

Day 1 – Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan

Tokyo is Japan’s capital, a vast and dynamic metropolis blending centuries of tradition with contemporary energy.

Day 2 – Toba, Japan

Toba is a coastal city in Japan’s Mie Prefecture, long known as the birthplace of the country’s cultured pearl industry.

Day 3 – Kochi, Japan

Kochi is a coastal city where centuries of trade left a mix of ancient mosques, synagogues and European colonial buildings, along with giant Chinese fishing nets at Fort Kochi.

Day 4 – Kanmon Straits, Japan

The Kanmon Straits are the narrow waterway separating Japan’s main islands of Honshu and Kyushu, linking the cities of Shimonoseki and Kitakyushu.

Day 5 – Jeju (Seogwipo), South Korea

Seogwipo is the second-largest city on Jeju Island, South Korea, set on a volcanic coastline in the island’s south, near the UNESCO-listed Manjanggul lava tubes.

Day 6 – Kagoshima, Japan

Kagoshima lies on the southern coast of Kyushu, watched over by the smouldering Sakurajima volcano across the bay.

In the historic Asakusa district stands Sensoji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, founded in 628 and rebuilt many times through the centuries.
